'twas the night before 2009

'Tis the last day of the year and all is quite at our place. Dear husband suggested we go and welcome the New Year by going into the city to see the fireworks. "YES..let's go and see the NY in with a big bang," I said, but now it is raining and going out is the last thing I want to do. I would rather stay home in the airconditioned comfort of my place and blow a few toy horns at midnight. It is hot and muggy and I cannot help recall that one year ago I was in Bristol visiting my daughter. I was enjoying a European winter sipping mulled wine and excited that the next day we were flying to Paris.

What a different scene this year...While my husband sits reading a book, I am trying to complete a crochet skin for my daughter's Macbook.

Happy New Year aLL!
This year the focus was on crochet and I managed to complete many projects for loved ones and others. Let me show you my favourites.
2 baby 'ghans
